Kayson Naidu
Chief Executive Officer
Kayson (Kay) Naidu, is an experienced and qualified professional in private education in South Africa. His 30 years professional experience spans across all levels of education from Grade R Levels (School) to Doctorate Levels (University). He has served in national government education roles such as Evaluator / Auditor for the Council on Higher Education (CHE), Evaluator / Monitor for the Umalusi Council, including being a board member for the ACC, and served in assessment / moderation roles for various SETA ETQA’s.
As a Registrar for a private national higher education institution, he has issued more than 350,000 higher education degrees and diplomas over 15 years. He has a B Comm (Accounting and Business Management) Degree, Masters in Business Leadership Degree, Programme in Total Quality Management (TQM), SABS ISO 9000 Series; E-Com, ICDL, Assessor, Moderator and Design including a host of other qualifications and certifications.
More recently, he sat in the position of a Principal of a Private High School, registered with the Gauteng Department of Education (GDE), and also instrumental in setting up a private school on a consulting basis in Western Cape. Its within these projects, that his focus shifted from training in the higher education sector to formal training in the school sector. The current and ongoing shortfalls of the traditional school sector especially in the areas of globalisation, artificial intelligence and technology, opens the arena of homeschooling as a preferred mode of teaching and learning children from Grades R-12. Traditional schools unfortunately still expect a child to regurgitate from a textbook, when a 2 minute video from Tik-Tok will achieve better results in a shorter time. This migration from old ways and traditional forms of thinking, opens up various areas of unique selling propositions to the South African Home School Network (SAHSN)
Kay Naidu in the current start-up and operationalisation stage of the SAHSN Franchise, is being assisted by Ms Bernice Naidu, who is a director within the SAHSN company.
